- Presentation by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) addressing:
o The impact of Hate Crimes and Hate Incidents on local communities
o The difference between a Hate Crime and a Hate Incident
o Understanding anti-Semitism and some local examples
o A dive into the meaning and danger of the messages in the recent banner drops in Irvine
- An opportunity for an open Q&A
Like all of our meetings, this is open to anyone who is working in any security capacity at any House of Worship here in Irvine. However, given the importance of this topic, we encourage you to share this meeting information and this Eventbrite link with members of your House of Worship's leadership team.
A boxed lunch will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own meal if you so choose. Masks are required at all Irvine City Facilities, including the Los Olivos Community Center.
