Campers will learn all about Emergency Management and how it supports the community. CAMP CONCEPT: This camp includes interacting with public safety, writing a plan to prepare your household, and understanding and tracking winter weather patterns. We will also do a search and rescue exercise! AGES: 7-12 WHAT IS KID’S CLUB?: Local community events venue, Bricker-Price Block hosts a fantastic line up of local and affordable summer camps for kids... AND NOW, we are adding winter camps to our schedule! Our mission for Kid’s Club is to create a fun environment with an education twist for any kid five to 14 year-olds while simultaneously utilizing local educators, professionals and volunteers! Thanks to Earlham Family Dentistry, healthy lunches and snacks will again be FREE! DISCOUNTS: If you sign up for multiple Kid's Club Camps, you can get 10% discount on each camp you register for. Please use the code DISCOUNT at registration. SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarships are also available for families that fall within the 250th percentile of the Federal Poverty Line. Restored inside and out, our historic event venue Bricker-Price Block serves as the cornerstone for renewed community life in Earlham and Madison County, extending a friendly welcome to guests from Central Iowa and beyond. On the ground floor is one of the area’s newest destination dining spot, Beans & Beignets with the mission to create joy and friendships over good food, coffee and ice cream. Upstairs, the Hadley Family Social Club, with its classic arched windows, tall tin ceilings and refinished wood floors, is a beautiful setting for birthday parties, weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, wedding or bridal showers, fundraisers, corporate meetings and any other special life events. Our community event venue is also host to unique events like our annual Harvest Gathering Farm-to-Table Dinner and our Family-Friendly & Late Night Trivia Events. The proceeds from these events go right back to providing affordable programming for our youth during our Kid’s Club Summer Camps and for our local senior citizens through our Senior Speaker Series.
