Celebrating diversity from a Multi-Cultural lens with a focus on Integration and strength in Unity! The primary focus of this first conference will be to help the new Afghan arrivals better understand and integrate into the American cultural mosaic, including by featuring some success stories and lessons learned. Beyond that, we hope they will build connections and form trusting, lifelong relationships with their American neighbors and friends, as we have. The conference likely will discuss ways to facilitate this, by engaging them in community projects where they will contribute to this great society side-by-side with Americans from diverse backgrounds.
