I need to rehome my 9 year old tortoise and due to his size I'm trying to see if anyone can help with the name of a rescue. I do not want to do a private adoption I prefer he go to a rescue where I know he will be safe and they will have knowledge. I have raised him since he was a hatchling so this is very difficult but I'm 62 years old and I can no longer pick him up for his soaks in the tub without fear of dropping him and he's simply to heavy for me. Thanks!
