Qualifications - ASE certification preferred or 5 years experience as a master technician - Must have the necessary tools to perform job duties (except scanner, we will provide that) - Must be able to work in a shop environment with reasonable climate control, but may be required to work with no heating or air conditioning. - Must have a thorough knowledge of current automotive repair and maintenance techniques. - Must maintain friendly, courteous behavior at all times, and be able to communicate effectively. Responsibilities - Conduct vehicle inspections for mechanical services. - Perform automotive repairs. - Perform engine repair. - Perform air conditioning repair. - Perform electronic diagnosis including starting and charging systems, service engine lights, ABS systems, etc. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Duties may require standing, sitting, working, bending, climbing, lifting, stretching, etc. - May work in cramped and awkward positions using all types of tools and other equipment. - May be exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, etc.
