Our client, a local manufacturer, is seeking a packing and shipping clerk to add to their growing team. You will pack finished product in accordance with standard packaging procedures, while maintaining quality standards and efficient production. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track and complete multiple facets of product packaging and shipping. Strong communication skills and attention to detail is required to prepare products for shipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Follow company packing procedures and standards Handle inventory with care and attention to detail Adhere to safety programs and OSHA compliance for a safe work environment Follow company safety policies and procedures, and encourage other associates to do the same Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully Work at different stations as production requires Inspect, weigh, and package products Label packages Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment Maintain a clean and safe work environment Additional warehouse duties as needed Skills and Qualifications: At least 18 years old Able to lift up to 30 pounds Able to stand up to 4-8 hours at a time Demonstrated ability to operate machinery Detail-oriented Experience working in a manufacturing environment   This position will start immediately and pay is $15/hr.   Part-time (8am – noon OR noon – 4pm) & Full-time (8am – 4:30pm) shifts available.   Please email your resume or call/text 760-862-1818 if interested.
