Description
WORCESTER, MA — State police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint somewhere in Worcester County this weekend, according to the department.
The checkpoint will begin on Saturday and run into Sunday, state police said. The department doesn't typically disclose the exact locations of checkpoints.
"The purpose is to further educate the motoring public and strengthen the public's awareness to the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs from our roadways," state police Col. Christopher Mason said in a news release.
