FOXBOROUGH, MA — If you watched Monday Night Football on ESPN or ABC, you saw the Patriots run all over the Bills for first place in the AFC East. If you watched it on ESPN2, you saw the same thing, but with rare insight into what Bill Belichick really cares about.
Former quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning's "ManningCast" broadcast had former New England cornerback Aqib Talib on as a guest in the third quarter. Talib, who played for Belichick in 2012 and 2013, dished on the three things that rub the famously prickly coach the wrong way.
Don't be late. Know your stuff.Don't play around with the media. "You stick to those three rules, you'll have a great time in New England," Talib said.
Something that doesn't bother Bill? Wearing a onesie to the morning portion of practice. Talib said Rob Gronkowski and Vince Wilfork wore onesies all the time in 2013.
"Bill not worried about no dress code, man," Talib said, perhaps to the surprise of some.
It's all about business for the coach.
"He worried about football," Talib said. "And only football."
