Press release from University of Wisconsin - Green Bay: Sue Bodilly December 6, 2021 Door Community Auditorium is joining forces with UW-Green Bay's First Nations Education programs and The Door County Civility project to present the 2022 Door County Talks Series. This year's series will explore the history, geographical locations, and cultures, past and present, of four of our regions' First Nations: Ho-Chunk (January 22), Oneida (February 12), Potawatomi (February 19), and Menominee (March 5). As in past years, the talks will be held at Door Community Auditorium on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. and include the opportunity to purchase coffee and pastries.  This year, to allow for more spacing—the talks will be held on stage.  The events are free, but donations are accepted. The format for each talk is as follows: Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and conversation. The first segment of the talk will last from approximately 10-10:45 a.m., and be followed by a 20-minute break. And, finally, the second segment and Q&A will take place and end at approximately Noon.
