NEW HAVEN - A New Haven resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Ansonia earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On December 2, Hector Diaz, of New Haven, purchased a Super Cashword 22 ticket from the Daily Mart in Ansonia and won $50,000.
