Here are the top stories today in Buffalo: On Tuesday morning, State Supreme Court Justice Christopher Burns sentenced 26-year-old Jose Crespo Garcia to 20 years in prison and five years post-release supervision. Crespo Garcia pleaded guilty last month to one count of manslaughter for the death of 28-year-old John Shelton, Jr. the day jury selection was set to begin in his trial. The shooting took place near the Shaffer Village housing complex in Buffalo on the night of Aug. 28, 2018. (WGRZ)Meet Journee Campbell, a five-year-old published author. Campbell was inspired to write her book, "The Little Voice In My Head," when kids were kept home from her preschool class last year. Her family has formed a publishing company and they hope to help other young authors get their ideas turned into books and published. Campbell's second book "Save Your Tears, Have No Fear" is already out and the third, a holiday book, is planned for release soon.
