Description

ROUND ROCK, TX — The city of Round Rock will hold a public workshop Wednesday to share their draft plan on the Transit Development Plan. The workshop will take place between 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Allen R. Baca Senior Center at 301 W. Bagdad Avenue. Materials for the meeting will be available online from Dec. 8 through Dec. 22. The plan is part of the city's initiative to improve public transportation in Round Rock as the city's population and transit ridership has increased significantly since the implementation of the Transit Master Plan in 2017. Round Rock has been creating a Transit Development Plan to make recommendations for updates and additional transit services since the summer. The project team met with several community leaders, received over 870 survey responses, and had over 380 people learn about the project through a virtual open house and two in-person public workshops. For more information on this meeting, visit the city's page on the transit plan or reach out to Transit Coordinator Edna Johnson at 512-671-2869 or [email protected].
