Press release from the City of Franklin: 12/06/2021 2:00 PM Franklin, TN – Make sure your kids will be safely secured during upcoming holiday road trips at the Franklin Fire Department's Car Seat Check-up Event this Thursday, December 9!  It will take place at Franklin Fire Station 7, 1972 John Fitzgerald Drive, from 2:30 – 4:30 PM. The event is free and open to the public.  No appointment is necessary, simply drive through the fire station bays.  Firefighters who are certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will show you how to properly install your car seat.  If possible, bring your child with you to ensure proper harness fit.   If you can't make it on Thursday, visit www.franklintn.gov/CarSeatCheck to learn how to schedule an appointment.
