Do you Have What It Takes? Calling all Spirited, Outgoing, and Energetic Animal Lovers!! SoBe Pooch is hiring multiple Pet Service Providers for part-time(Independent Contractor)positions in Miami Beach. We are looking for people who are warm, caring, honest, and hardworking. It’s also very important to be comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, we work mainly with cats and dogs. People skills are important too, as you’ll be interacting with our Pet Parents every day. You must have extensive experience caring for pets (either personal or professional) and a willingness to learn about each of our pet clients and their individual routines. You must be able to keep up with the physical demands of being on your feet and walking for much of the day (come rain or heatwave), all with a positive attitude. Our Pet Service Providers truly become part of the families they help care for, and because of this we ask for a minimum 6-month commitment. What is a typical day like for a SoBe Pooch Pet Service Provider? Our full-time Pet Service Providers generally work between the hours of 8 am-10 pm seven days a week. They are assigned to several specific clients and usually work with the same pets each day, forming a bond with each pet, and building a great rapport with every client. Our part-time Pet Service Providers fill in for our regular staff and work an average of 2-5 days per week. Typically you will be expected to work the majority of the day (8 am-10 pm) but it’s possible you may only be scheduled for half days or just a few appointments in a day. We are looking for Pet Service Providers with consistent availability Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 10 PM. Including weekends. REQUIREMENTS: 18 years or older Pass a criminal background check Must love cats and dogs with an understanding and willingness to learn about their care Warm and caring personality Comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments Able to keep up with the physical demands of being on your feet and walking for much of the day Able to cope with inclement weather. (rain, cold, or heatwave, we walk through it all) Able to make at least a 6-month commitment Have availability from 8 am – 10 pm, Sunday – Sunday Patience with all sorts of dog antics and behavior issues Honest and hardworking Punctual with excellent time management skills MUST live in Miami Beach A strong oral and written communicator Upbeat and personable Detail Oriented Want to be part of a fun and growing start-up Must have a smartphone and a portable phone charger Added plus if you own your own bike/skateboard/scooter Have a good understanding of transit logistics and time management in the South Beach Everyone we work with has been carefully selected based on experience, personality, great attitude, and a professional demeanor.
