SUMMIT, IL — If you're looking to change industries during the worker shortage or a better paying opportunity, over 15 employers and counting will be present at U.S. Rep. Marie Newman's first-ever Winter Job Fest. The job fest runs from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Summit Park Gymnasium, 5700 S. Archer Ave., Summit.
Stop by to meet with Southwest Side business owners, who are all in a hiring mood. The job fair is designed to connect residents of Illinois' 3rd Congressional District with businesses, organizations and government agencies that are looking for local talent. Participating organizations include:
