Salida Ag, an agricultural crop protection and fertilizer sales company located in Modesto, has a Warehouse Operative position open. This would be a Seasonal warehousing position with days averaging between 8 and 10 hours a day depending on the current crops season. Job Requirements: • Valid California Driver’s License, with a clean DMV Record • Forklift experience is a bonus but not required • The ability to lift 50Lbs+ General knowledge of Warehousing and Agriculture is helpful but not required. On top of pulling orders and loading trucks you may be tasked with cleaning and maintenance of equipment, assisting in the yard, and whatever other facility tasks come up over the course of a business year. Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test. This is an hourly position with vacation time and sick leave. Although this position is a seasonal one, we appreciate hard work when we see it and want you to know it doesn’t go unnoticed. If you prove yourself to be an asset to Salida Ag over the course of our season, we may ask you to come on as full time and that includes health benefits and retirement which are included in a benefit package that is far above industry standards.
