LOS ANGELES, CA — Three people were robbed at gunpoint of $100,000 in jewelry outside the InterContinental Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles Tuesday morning. The robbers targeted three people standing near the valet area at the hotel at 900 Wilshire Boulevard just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and ABC7. Two suspects got out of their car and robbed three people at gunpoint near the valet area, getting away with a number of rings and a watch, according to police. No injuries were reported. The suspects were last seen headed east on 7th Street in a black older model BMW with tinted windows, said LAPD Sgt. Hector Guzman. The first suspect was a man estimated to be 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a black and grey Nike tracksuit with a white face mask. The second suspect was 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a blue tracksuit. Both were armed with handguns, said Guzman.
