JOLIET, IL — On Tuesday, the Will County Sheriff's Office announced a major drug bust led to the recovery of 13 bundles of meth, two containers of Fentanyl pills and eight bundles of cocaine. The traffic stop and arrest of Carlos Javier Rosado of Downey, California, happened around 4:30 p.m. Dec. 3 near the Houbolt Road exit for Interstate 80. "While speaking to him, deputies began to suspect that Rosado was involved in criminal activity," the Will County Sheriff's Office announced. During a search of Rosado's GMC Acadia, sheriff's deputies found a secret compartment within his vehicle containing 13 bundles of methamphetamine totaling 8,587 grams, two containers of Fentanyl pills totaling 1,950 grams, eight bundles of cocaine totaling 8,800 grams and multiple cell phones, sheriff's officials said.
