Second Bucks Co. Student Charged With Threatening School Shooting

BRISTOL, PA — A student at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School in Bristol has been charged with making terroristic threats against the school on Monday, Dec. 6. Police arrived at the school after the student, a sixth-grader, threatened to shoot up the school. After investigating the threats with help from the Bucks County District Attorney's Office and Bucks County Juvenile Probation Department, the student was charged with two counts of making terroristic threats. This incident occurred the same day as another threat of school shooting was made by a student at Bristol Borough High School, who was also charged for similar threats. For safety measures, the school, and several others in the school district, will see increased police presence to combat similar incidents from occurring.
