Press release from the Wright County Government: December 7, 2021 As of this morning, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety has reopened the drivers testing station in Buffalo (15 1st Avenue South). The testing station had been closed since March of 2020 due to COVID-19 and will be open two days a week. Tuesdays will be exclusively designated for knowledge testing, while Wednesdays will be reserved for Class D road tests. Here are the available options and what is required to secure a spot to take one of the tests. Class D Knowledge Tests – 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Tuesdays. By appointment only. Schedule online at www.drive.mn.gov or call 651-284-1000. Class D Road Tests – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. By appointment only. Schedule online at www.drive.mn.gov or call 651-284-1000. Commercial (CDL) Knowledge Tests – 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Tuesdays. First come, first served as space is available.
