ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of domestic battery, drugs, DUI, false identifications and driving violations. Here is information from the police reports: Domestic battery Laureano Tan, 47, of Chicago, was arrested Thursday on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. He was charged in connection with an incident about 3:30 a.m. Nov. 28. According to a police report, Tan battered a woman multiple times before leaving an apartment. He turned himself in at the Elmhurst police station. Drugs Andrezej J. Kudlacik, 39, of Plainfield, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Friday at North and West on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving with a revoked license, DUI, illegal stopping on the roadway, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond.Kobbe Anderson, 24, of Stone Park, was arrested about 11 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of West North Avenue on two DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrants and on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Leaving accident scene Lavon Thomas, 23, of Bellwood, was cited about 2 a.m. Sunday at First and West on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license. She was released on bond. According to police, a witness to an accident told police that Thomas ran away after a crash. A passenger in Thomas' car said she had just met Thomas and was unable to provide any more information. DUI Aleazar Valois Urquiza, 23, of Glen Ellyn, was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday at West and North on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured vehicle, disobeying a traffic control signal and transportation of open alcohol. He was released on bond. Avelino Alcala, 53, of Villa Park, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Route 83 and North on a charge of DUI. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Alcala was found sleeping behind the wheel. False IDs Nicholas Parisi, 18, of Tampa, Florida; Sean Hunt, 18, of Land O Lakes, Florida; Daulton Burgner, 20, of Smithton, Illinois; and William Sherman, 18, of Oconto, Wisconsin, were cited at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Fitz's Pub, 172 N. Addison Ave., on charges of false use of identification and being minors on a licensed premise. They were released on bond. An 18-year-old man of Pleasant Lake, Michigan, was cited on a charge of being a minor on a licensed premise. Driving violations Cristian Merlos Qurizoz, 19, of Villa Park, was cited about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at North and Maple on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. He was released on bond. James Cotton Jr., 69, of Bellwood, was cited shortly before 6 p.m. Friday at York and Butterfield on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to yield from a private drive. He was released on bond. Rodrigo Martinez-Arcos, 43, of Chicago, was cited about 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Interstate 290 and North on a warrant and on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and no license plate light. He was released on bond. Desmond Clark, 34, of Melrose Park, was cited about 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Butterfield and Knighton on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. He was released on bond. Warrant Khair Hnaihen, 25, of Burbank, was arrested about 2 p.m. Thursday on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant. He was released on bond. According to a police report, he went to the police station to provide proof of ownership of a car that had been towed. He was then found to have a warrant.
