St. Mary of Gostyn School in Downers Grove is seeking a Technology Assistant. This is a part-time or full-time position.  The Technology Assistant will undertake the following responsibilities: Prepare, update and maintain all technology devices at St. Mary of Gostyn School (staff and student)Prepare new devices for network, Google, etc. Ensure all devices are protected and safety software is up-to-dateInstall updates on all products and software systems and all devices (student and staff)Provide technical assistance and repairs and guidance on all devices and technologyCollaborate with administration to ensure student devices are updated and prepared for testing (AIMSweb, IAR, etc.)Provide technical assistance and support for school/parish networkReset WIFI when necessaryAssist with troubleshooting all network/server related issuesCollaborate with vendors during installation of new technology-related devices and projectsPrepare remote learning hubs for use as directed by administrationCommunicate with staff, students and parents as needed relating to technology procedures and policiesCollaborate with Part-time STEAM Teacher with the 1:1 program as needed under direction of Administration Organize, manage and maintain inventory of all technology-related itemsAttend workshops as necessary to further enhance skillsCollaborate with Director of Marketing and Enrollment, Parish Manager (Development) and school office on technical support for school website (E-Commerce)Assist administration/school office with updating and development of School Speak and Google Classrooms as neededResearch and present new methods and best practices in technology implementation as neededProvide professional development to teachers and staff in technology-related areas and best practicesAssist with small scale Parish technology projects as needed Additional DutiesThis individual will perform other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and Catholic Schools Office administrators as designated by the Superintendent of Catholic Schools.
