Here at the Ashland YMCA we pride ourselves on having a very clean building, and we are looking for staff to maintain an exceptional facility. Basic qualifications include: * Janitorial experience * Must be able to work alone, as well as with others * Must be able to lift and move heavy objects * Must be dependable, responsible, and pay attention to details * Must be able to pass a criminal background check Principle activities: * Performs general janitorial/maintenance including, but not limited to: cleaning, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, changing vacuum bags, laundry, trash removal, stripping and waxing floors, scrubbing and operating machines and equipment, and window/mirror cleaning * Follows proper cleaning procedures * Works as part of a team for floor maintenance and special projects The full job description and application are on our website: www.ashlandymca.org.
