The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is hiring a Master of Public Policy student to research community impacts of river erosion and policy solutions in Alaska's Yukon River Watershed. This position will be part of a larger research project funded by the National Science Foundation on planning for and adapting to riverbank erosion. The position will be located in Anchorage, Alaska, with travel to the Yukon River Watershed region. It includes a two-year fellowship in UAA's new Master of Public Policy program, designed for training Alaska's future public policymakers, analysts, and administrators.
