Press release from the Shelton State Community College: December 6, 2021 December 6, 2021 – As an exciting addition to the College's rich heritage and tradition of athletic excellence, Shelton State Community College has established the Shelton State Community College Athletic Hall of Fame (Hall of Fame). The Hall of Fame will serve as a means of recognizing and honoring athletes, coaches, teams, and individuals who have made significant contributions to the athletics programs at the College and who have set high standards for others to emulate. The inaugural Shelton State Community College Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on the evening of February 18, 2022. Nominations for the Hall of Fame must be submitted via the official Shelton State Community College Hall of Fame Packet and Nomination Form. Forms must be completed no later than January 5, 2022, for consideration. Complete nomination packet requirements are listed on the nomination form. Individuals and teams may be nominated from three categories. The nominee must be at least five (5) years removed from enrollment or employment at Shelton State.
