TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a teenager whose family has not heard from her since Monday night.

TPD said Cherelle Spates, 14, was last in contact with family members via text message at 8 p.m. Monday night after leaving home around that time to visit friends in Aspen Village. She has not yet returned or contacted her family.
She is described as 5'2" and 90 pounds. Cherelle was possibly wearing a pink University of Alabama hoodie Monday evening.
