Sadly its time to let go of my 1 year old german shepherd Max as he is to energetic and strong for me and my girlfriend to handle, he is good with people kids and other animals as i have another small female shepherd and a cat that he gets along great with, but again he is just way to energetic and strong for me to handle when im with him. He is potty trained and will sit or jump towards the front door when ready to go out side, he just turned 1 and is already full size and huge at that, he still has the puppy mindset so he doesn’t really understand how strong he really is and tends to take me along for walks / runs rather than me leading him, that being said you must have a decent sized yard and fence to manage him, he is super playfull and still has some of his baby teeth so he has a tendency to chew on things like my hand, his toys and trash if he can get to it, He is pure bred german shepherd not mixed or cross breeded and is super friendly towards everything, although he does a tendency to bark and pull when he sees something but then is super friendly when up close and personal, although he has quite the voice on him and can probably clear rooms out with his bark! And he listens to basic comands like sit, paw, lay down, stop, and go but definitely needs more training. I got him from a farm breeder in PA when he was about 4 months old, and they had their personal vet give him his shots but he will be needing updated shots now that he is 1 year old, he was about $2500 when i got him which is no big deal, but just to be safe and just give him away to someone random i feel as if he should have a rehoming fee of $500 just so i know hes going to a good home and wont be abused & mistreated or sent to a dog fighter like people do with there silly pitbulls, but that May depend on if i feel like hes going to a safe place.
