Acoustic guitar player/singer looking to open for local bands

I'm an acoustic player looking to get myself out there in support of other local bands/artists that are established and already playing gigs. I have a handful of cover songs(Foo Fighters, Elton John, Oasis, Springsteen,etc.) as well as a few originals in my set at the moment(can obviously learn more) looking to do say a 25-35 minute opening set before a band or artist takes the stage.
