Sammie, is a 13 year old female, emotional support Shitzu that was picked up/stolen on Thanksgiving Day by a woman at the Eagle Mart, (Hindi), Gas Station in Ranchitos, Espanola NM. We believe this woman is attempting to sell Sammie. She has a chip but no collar at the time she was taken.. Sammie had just come from the groomers. One of her Owners has been at the Mayo Hospital in Arizona for treatment of a life threatening illness. Sammie was left with a relative. The family is devastated. We are pleading for anyone who has seen her to come forward. If you know of anyone who has recently acquired a Shitzu please respond to this posting no questions asked. “To the woman who took her”, please have some compassion for Sammie and the family. All have been traumatized by her loss. Please take her to the animal shelter if you do not want to respond to this post. Reward offered if necessary.
