I need parakeet advice…URGENT

I and a friend managed to get these 8-week-old sweeties away from a woman in our apartment building. I have tons of experience with birds and have some of my own. But, I have never dealt with splayed legs. Is it even possible to semi-rehab them at this age? They are obviously ripping off splints we put on. Also, as you can see in the picture, the white bird’s right leg may need amputating. Time is of the essence-I am leaving Thursday mornings to go out of state and will be gone for10 days, leaving my friend alone with this. Please get back to me ASAP!
