Description
I attempted to rescue a feral female kitten from my husband's work almost a year ago. I say attempted because she still doesn't seem happy or at peace. Because of the pandemic, I was unable to get her spayed, but she did get vaccinations and FIV tested her 1st year. Results are negative. She runs around the house hissing still, but she does enjoy the company of the other cats. She will swat if she feels threatened. We have tried alternate methods to no avail. Once caught, she does do well at the vet. She is litterbox trained. We rescued a male polydactyl at the same time and for the same reasons we were just able to get him an appointment in January. We are trying to keep them separated but the whole household is in chaos. She needs someone to do better by her, someone with the knowledge and experience that she will require to have a fulfilled life. She needs a patient human and a lot of effort, and I will be selective with her rehoming. Please bear all of this in mind before responding, thank you.
