Packaging Operator LOCATION: North Portland SALARY: $18-$19.50/hour JOB DESCRIPTION: Local, growing brewery in N. Portland is seeking outstanding Packaging Operators to join their company. Position pays $18-$19.50 per hour and we have day shift and night shifts available working 6am-6pm or 6pm to 6am. Specific job duties: Operate semi-automated bottling/racking equipment (including bottle filler, bottle labeler, case packer) Trouble-shoot and maintain equipment Perform sanitation duties Work closely with packaging/racking Leads to ensure that we are packaging quality beer every time QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma/GED preferred Experience in the beverage or food packaging line industry, specifically with fillers, labelers, drop case bottle packers&/or vertical baggers a plus An aptitude for trouble shooting basic mechanical & electrical systems is a plus Ability to remain standing for long periods of time Ability to lift 50 on occasion Strong attention to detail & quality Experience with basic sanitation practices Accurate record keeping A criminal background check and/or drug screen may be required.
