Male Merle Great Dane mix

I have what I believe to be a male Merle great Dane mix. He looks to be about a year old. From his appearance he had been a stray for a while. My husband picked him up on the highway just after the dog he was running with was hit. We've had him in the pen with our other dog for about two weeks or so and found out today he doesn't like cats which we have several. He also does not know how to walk on a leash. He would be a good companion for an outside dog. He just needs a good home. He enjoys attention from people and seems to do good with kids as well, which we have young and older kids and he's been around both with no problems at all.
