Workshop: Fig Trees - Winter Pruning Methods - Saturday, January 8th, 2022, 11am - 1:00pm Location: Home Orchard Education Center A 501(c)3 non-profit centered around an established fruit-focused arboretum, located in Oregon City. Are your figs out of reach? Did you know most varieties of figs grown in the Pacific Northwest produce two separate crops each year? Learn how to prune figs for best health and fruit production and to ensure you’re not accidentally pruning off your early season (breba) crop. In this hands-on workshop you will learn proper winter pruning techniques specifically for fig trees. Students will receive guided hands on practice that will help to build the confidence necessary to successfully prune their own fig trees. $40 per student Workshop space is limited, and pre-registration via Home Orchard Education Center website is required:
