We are a Laser cutting and Fabrication shop that does alot of Tig welding and some Mig welding we work on alot of aluminum and stainless jobs requiring Tig welding knowledge welding VERY thick to Thin Metal that are challenging and some steel Mig welding jobs. There is continues to be new product that we are manufacturing and then a fare share of repetitive jobs that we make on a monthly basis. JOB Requirements Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts. Weld small and large components such as Aluminum/ Steel and Stainless tubing and sheet, beams. Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job. To include band saws shears and press breaks and or the willing to learn. Maintain and repair all machinery. Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors. Follow and enforce safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety glasses while cutting/ welding. Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Setting up components for welding according to specifications Requirements: ***A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred. ***A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a welder. ***Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools. ***Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs. ***Outstanding attention to detail. ***Proven experience as welder ***Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, etc.) ***Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.) ***Proficient in English ***Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is preferred ***Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus but not required Will have a probationary period to prove you have what it takes or the willingness to learn compensation: wages based on experience $18.00 to $25.00+ p/hr but you prove your worth it. employment type: full-time 9-5 Monday - Friday
