We are a well established and upbeat pet care service company specializing in doggy daycare and dog boarding. We are looking for experienced dog people with a good knowledge of dog behaviors. You need to be extremely patient, reliable, punctual and personable. Most importantly have a positive attitude!! We have built our company upon our reputation and have have impeccable reviews. We are looking for people who are not only good with the dogs but also great with our human clients. You should have previous customer service experience as well. You will need to be computer literate and able to navigate through our computer software we use. About the job: You will be in a room by your self or with one other person managing anywhere from 10-23 dogs in a group play environment. We are a crate-less facility! You will be constantly on your feet and cleaning up after the dogs as well as refereeing play. You will need keep the older dogs feeling comfortable and the dogs playing safely. You will need to curb negative behaviors effectively with verbal commanding. You are responsible for some feedings, logging feeding records & giving occasional meds during their lodging with us. You will be interacting with clients and verbally reporting about their dogs stay with us. You will need to be articulate and know how to speak to clients in a positive way about low level negative interactions as well as positive ones their dog might have had that day. At times you will be the point of contact for front desk interactions and checking dogs in/out during their stay. This position is part time with opportunity to grow into more hours should the right person want them. You will need to be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
