Are you looking to do something good for Christmas? Riverhead United Methodist Church started a "sandwich box" ministry in response to the number of people living on the street. Our "box" or cabinet is located outside and is stocked with fresh sandwiches, fresh fruit, and bottles of water that can be taken by anyone who may be hungry or thirsty at anytime day or night. But our present box is plastic and not designed for being outside. Last night the doors blow off again this time permanently breaking the doors. We are looking for someone with wood working skills who would be willing to donate time and energy to build up a standing cabinet that is made for out door and strong enough to stand up to the wind and rain.
