I've always winterized my boat but this year I am unable to get it started to winterize. It is a 454 mercruiser. Normally I draw antifreeze into the engine but because I cant start the boat so I am at a loss. There are 8 freeze plugs but I don't want to go that route. they are very difficult to get to. No petcocks. The boat ran well all summer but probably hasn't run since september. when I tried to start it a week or so ago I took off the flame arrester and after turning it over on and off for some time I had a flame shoot out of the carburetor. Its now over my head. If you can start the engine I'll pay you well for your efforts. I can't get the boat into Larsen marine who has been doing the engine work on the boat for the last 5 or so years. The boat is sitting in my driveway and I run a hose to it to cool it. If you have any questions call me and ask. I know the boat well. I'll pay you $200 if you can start it. 30 and hour if you can't.
