Good & Well Supply Co., a small business in Seattle making candles and other home and personal fragrance products, is currently hiring for a full-time, benefits eligible Shipping Assistant to join our team. We are an enthusiastic and compassionate group of individuals striving to bring the smells of the outdoors in, while being particularly inspired by our country's National Parks. Job Duties: Are you looking to be a part of a small team and make a big difference? Are you motivated by the details and are known for finding efficiencies? If so, we'd love to hear from you! The Shipping Assistant fulfills all online and wholesale orders in a timely and accurate fashion. You will be responsible for case packing products, picking/pulling products for orders, and carefully packaging merchandise for shipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading/organizing pallets of heavy freight and assisting in inventory and supply management. Other responsibilities include maintaining the daily cleanliness and orderliness of the shipping and receiving area, including breaking down cardboard boxes, sweeping floors, general cleaning, and taking out trash/recycling. Supervision Received: Position reports to the Director of Operations Compensation: This is a full-time position @17.00hr Qualifications: · Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail · Comfortable using shipping platforms such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx · Ability to work in fast-paced environment · Positive energy and attitude · Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment · High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, you should be able to: · Regularly stand for extended periods of time · Move and/or lift up to 50 pounds Working Conditions: Given the nature or our products, you will be most comfortable if you can tolerate a highly fragrant work environment. Please be advised that we are in a large warehouse space where the temperature can fluctuate based on the weather outside. Please also note that there are dogs present in the building.
