Say hello to one of the smartest and most loyal dog's you'll ever meet. Sadly my wife and I have to rehome our five year old red heeler mix, Elie. Elie is deaf but was trained at All Dogs Unleashed to be communicated with through a collar that vibrates for attention and stimulates for correction. He loves being around people and is very affectionate. Elie has never attacked a child, but he does have herding instincts that can sometimes lead to him barking or nipping at children specifically. It's their quick movements that make him nervous. We're wanting to find Elie a good home with a patient owner that can give him the attention and love he needs. He is crate trained, but loves having a big backyard to run around. He always appreciates going on 1-2 mile jogs and loves chasing squirrels. We will be interviewing all inquiries, we require a $100 in order to show investment in Elie's wellbeing, and would ask that you only reach out if you have a backyard for him to run around in.
