Description

If you or someone you love is struggling with major depressive disorder (MDD), you may be interested in a new clinical research study. Depression can have damaging effects on health and wellbeing and may put a person at risk for social withdrawal, substance abuse, and disruption of family and work life. Many people with major depressive disorder do not respond well to traditional anti-depressant therapies, so a new study is investigating the efficacy and safety of an investigational study drug as an adjunctive treatment for people with MDD. Viking Clinical Research is now enrolling volunteers for this depression research study. Duration is approximately 9 weeks and participants will be monitored carefully for mental or general health concerns. Individuals may qualify for the study if they: • Are 18 – 65 years of age • Have been diagnosed with moderate to severe Major Depressive Disorder • Have had poor results with previous treatment(s) • Meet additional health and study criteria Study-related care and the study drug may be provided at no cost, and qualified participants may be reimbursed for their time. To learn more about the clinical research study and to see if you may qualify, please visit our website at viking-mdd.researchstudytrial.com/?r=5.
