Description
I have rehabbed two adult female Kenyan sand boas who need pet only homes. They have both had surgical removal of retained eggs and are no longer able to be bred without risking their lives. They are sweet, beautiful, healthy girls who eat like champs. They just need a home that won't try to breed them.
*Kenyan sand boas have live birth, but the babies still start out as eggs that develop inside the oviduct rather than outside the body. Unfertilized eggs do not develop and STAY eggs which can then get egg bound. They can calcify or stick to the oviduct just like in any other snake.
If you think something about this violates the terms of service, can you please tell me before flagging. I don't see anything I'm doing that is against the rules of CL and I just want good homes for these girls. I don't know if you know but reptile shelters aren't super abundant.
