We have been in business since the 1960s and are now in the third generation of family-owned operation and management. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle and respond to maintenance issues for properties managed by our company. The Maintenance Technician duties include but are not limited to the below. Key Responsibilities and Duties • Knowledgeable of all pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations and ensures individual and team safety on site. • Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as directed. • Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services. • Report all major repairs and need requisitions to Maintenance Manager. • Complete all service requests/work orders on a timely basis, unless the request requires extraordinary parts or labor as directed by Maintenance Manager. • Ability to be on call for after hours emergency service, as requested. • Communicate clearly and effectively with tenants, guests, and contracted vendors. • Flexible with the work schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays in cases of emergency. Desired Qualifications and Skills • High level of proficiency in written, verbal, and arithmetic skills. • Ability to plan, juggle, and prioritize multi-task environment in order to support maintenance team and facility needs. • Possess solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. • High school diploma required, some college or trade school preferred. • Minimum of one-year experience in property management or construction. • Valid OSHA 10 certification a plus. • Valid Driver’s License and personal insurance coverage pursuant to Company policies. • Must have reliable transportation for travel to and between properties. • Position is subject to background screening and drug testing.
