Chocolate Lab Mix needs a new home

Our loving dog Dixie is looking for a new home because we are moving. She is a 10-year old Labrador/Retriever mix - chocolate brown with some white markings. Dixie is very affectionate, gets along well with our other dog and cat, and with children of all ages. Dixie is very laid back and quiet - most of the time we don't even know she is around. Dixie is shy and spends her time at home relaxing in her kennel or under the bed. Dixie loves to ride in the car and comes on camping trips with us. Dixie loves to go on walks and can walk 5 miles or more with no problems - we walk her with a gentle leader. Dixie eats Kibbles & Bits and is strong and healthy. Dixie has all her shots up to date and uses heartworm medication. We are supplying a kennel, harness, leash, bowl, and some food. We are relocating to a new home in a mountainous area which has a steep incline and also 3 stories with lots of stairs. We are concerned that Dixie will not be able to handle the cold climate or the climbing, so we are looking for a new home for Dixie. We are asking for a $25 pet adoption fee - just to make sure her new owner is serious about adoption.
