Seeking bassist and guitarist for original alt-country band

We're starting up an original alt-country band. Looking for a bassist and drummer 30-50 years old who live within a reasonable drive of Union and Somerset counties (a half-hour or so). We have a singer/rhythm guitarist and lead guitarist/banjo/steel guitar player lined up and a collection of songs to get us started. Now we need a rhythm section. If you sing and/or write songs that mesh well, we are definitely open to those contributions as well. This won't be the sort of pop-country stuff you hear on the radio, or even traditional country. Instead, we're envisioning a bar band that puts on a fun, energetic live show. A band that is country at heart, but willing to get loud and rock out, too. But we'll mix in a little bit of the slow, sappy stuff, too. Think Old 97's, Ryan Adams/Whiskeytown, Uncle Tupelo. We're not thinking this will be a huge time commitment. Weekly practices on average, maybe 6-10 shows a year. We'll see where it goes from there. Would love to record, too. We'd like to think we'll make some money, but if that's a high priority for you, this probably wouldn't be the band for you.
