My name is Nicole Thrower. My husband, Ishmael and I have a now 8-year-old son Yeshua aka Rock, who is dealing with a terminally ill disease called Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). He was diagnosed at the age of 4. The disease claimed the life of his uncle, David Jackson in 2001 at the young age of 19. The disease results in progressive loss of strength, problems also include loss of ambulation, and issues related to the heart and lungs. We are holding on to hope as we continue searching for a cure for him. Our son is the inspiration for starting Mom’s Rock.  Mom’s Rock; a 503-©Non-Profit Organization to 'Promote Hope Through Healthy Living’. We are here to benefit parents who have the responsibility of caring for a child/(ren) who have a terminally ill disease, disability or unique/special need.  Our Mission:  Mom’s Rock; to serve parents who have the privilege of caring for a child(ren) with a terminally ill disease, disability or special need. We promote hope through healthy living.
