A conversation about how to support Afghan refugees Following the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, a number of Afghans have come to the United States as refugees. Many are still waiting to begin a new life in this country. Come be part of a conversation about how the local Christian community can get involved on behalf of the Afghan people. As Jesus says in Matthew 25: "I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me..." As part of the conversation, we will hear an interview from local Afghan resident Arian Wissal, owner of The Khorasan Kabob House.
