Machine shop based in Humble, TX seeks a machine shop helper. Job requirements include sweeping and keeping warehouse / shop area clean of debris including metal chips and shavings produced from manual and CNC machinery during the manufacturing process. In addition, the position includes daily custodial tasks in the offices, break-rooms and bathrooms. Also includes helping machinists with some set ups and clean up before and after jobs on machines. The position may also include cleaning, painting and reconditioning of machines. Based upon performance, opportunity for advancement is possible with trainee positions often pulled from the current shop helper.
