These family events hosted by Diabetes Camping Educational Services give an opportunity for children living with T1D to come together. Join us for a Zoo-tastic youth event (12 and under) at the Santa Ana Zoo. This charming Zoo features over 80 species of animals, including some of the smallest monkeys in the world! Together our group we’ll learn about animals, plants and the environment. Our special ticket also includes a private lunch, access to the children's farm, and a ride one the zoofari express train. Additional ride tickets can be purchased separately at the Zoo for their carousel, and the 64-foot Ferris wheel. These “Family Days” hosted by Diabetes Camping and Educational Services give an opportunity for children living with Type 1 diabetes to interact with their peers from surrounding areas in a fun and supportive environment.
