The event honors first responders and gives families the opportunity to show appreciation and get an up-close look at first responders. In the spirit of the holidays, The Envoy–located in Boston, Massachusetts– will be hosting the annual Touch a Truck/Touch a Boat event in conjunction with Boston Harbor Now’s “Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll” on Friday, December 31 from noon to 4pm. The event honors first responders and gives families of all ages the opportunity to show appreciation and get an up-close look at first responder vehicles. The Touch a Truck / Touch a Boat event has become a cherished Seaport tradition on New Year’s Eve as the community can personally thank first responders, set their eyes on the dazzling ice sculptures and enjoy numerous photo opportunities throughout the day (including Betty the Yeti!) - a perfect way to take part in a “feel good” community focused family event. During the stroll, Betty the Yeti will be at the Envoy at 1pm for some pictures as well.
